4021 Seawater Desalination Units Shipped to Four Countries

A new batch of WTEYA 4021 seawater desalination systems has completed factory testing at the Jingshan manufacturing base and is now crated and ready for dispatch. The consignment leaves as four separate shipments, bound for buyers in the United States, Greece, Colombia and Peru — four markets with very different water and power conditions, served from a single production schedule.

🤝 Four Destinations from One Batch

Every unit in this batch is built on the same 4021 platform but configured for the site it is going to. The United States unit is prepared for a coastal site where feed water quality shifts through the season. The Greek system is specified for an island installation where power supply is limited and energy efficiency matters more than footprint. The Colombian unit is arranged for a remote inland location where operator access is intermittent. The Peruvian system is set up for a desert coastal site with high-salinity feed water.

Shipping four configurations together is only possible because the 4021 platform is modular. High-pressure pumps, membrane elements and control panels are common to all four units; only the pre-treatment train and the skid layout change from project to project.

💧 The 4021 Platform at a Glance

The 4021 is a compact, container-ready seawater desalination unit. Its performance envelope is clearly defined:

  • Capacity — 4,021 gallons per day, approximately 15 m³/day of product water
  • Salt rejection — 99.5%
  • Product water quality — total dissolved solids below 200 ppm
  • Specific energy — 3–4 kWh per m³ of product water
  • Those figures place the 4021 in the small-to-mid range: large enough to supply a resort, a construction camp, a small community or an industrial site, and compact enough to travel as standard cargo and be commissioned in days rather than months.

🌊 Why the 4021 Suits All Four Markets

In all four destination countries the same physical problem repeats. Fresh water is scarce or unreliable, and the alternative — trucked or bottled water — becomes more expensive every year. A unit producing 15 m³ per day at 3–4 kWh/m³ gives an operator a predictable, self-owned water supply.

Because the 4021 draws only what the membranes and the high-pressure pump require, it can run from a modest generator set on a Greek island or from a solar-plus-battery arrangement at a Peruvian coastal site. On the United States and Colombian projects the unit is tied into existing plant utilities instead.

For every project the preparation is the same: a water analysis and a site survey. The machine itself does not change.

🏭 Batch Delivery Capability from One Factory

The four shipments in this batch were produced on one line, tested together and are being released on staggered sailing dates. That is deliberate. Buying four units from a single manufacturer means one set of drawings, one quality standard and one point of contact for spare parts.

WTEYA quotes standard delivery of 30–60 days from order confirmation, maintains a 48-hour on-site response commitment for service work, and reports a 99% equipment stability rate across installed units. The Jingshan smart manufacturing base covers 30,000 m², which is what allows several export orders to move through production at the same time.

    Why Choose WTEYA

WTEYA has been building evaporation and water treatment equipment since 2009 — nearly 20 years of design, manufacturing and field service. The group operates the Jingshan smart manufacturing base together with 42 branches and subsidiaries, employs more than 500 people and serves over 2,000 customers. Its equipment is used by more than 40 listed companies, including CATL, BYD, Huawei and Foxconn.

Seawater desalination is one part of a wider portfolio that also covers MVR evaporator systems, wastewater treatment solutions and reverse osmosis trains, so one supplier can look after a site’s full water balance instead of a single unit.
