WTEYA 4021 Desalination Systems Reach Four Global Markets

WTEYA’s 4021 seawater desalination series has entered four new overseas markets in a single production cycle. Units from the current batch are bound for the United States, Greece, Colombia and Peru, extending the company’s order book across both the Americas and Europe.

🌍 A Global Order Book: Americas and Europe

The spread of the batch is what stands out. The United States, Colombia and Peru represent the Americas; Greece represents Europe. Rather than a single export reference, the batch reflects demand for small coastal desalination across very different regulatory and utility environments.

Each destination also brings its own operating conditions. The United States project serves a coastal site with seasonal feed-water variation. Colombia takes a unit for a remote inland location. Peru receives a system configured for desert coastal water with high salinity. Greece adds an island installation where available power is the binding constraint.

⚡ What Makes the 4021 Series Competitive

The 4021 is a compact seawater desalination unit built for sites that need dependable fresh water without a central plant. Its performance envelope is well defined:

  • Capacity — 4,021 gallons per day, approximately 15 m³/day of product water
  • Salt rejection — 99.5%
  • Product water quality — total dissolved solids below 200 ppm
  • Specific energy — 3–4 kWh per m³ of product water
  • For buyers, the significance sits in the last figure. At 3–4 kWh per m³, a 4021 can be driven by a generator set, a solar array or a modest grid connection. That is what makes the unit deployable on islands, remote coastlines and construction sites rather than only inside established plants.

🏭 Batch Delivery as a Competitive Advantage

Four units for four countries inside one production window tests supply chain and scheduling, not just product design. Because high-pressure pumps, membrane elements and control panels are standardised across the series, a multi-country order does not multiply engineering hours.

WTEYA quotes 30–60 days from order confirmation, keeps a 48-hour on-site response commitment and reports a 99% equipment stability rate. The Jingshan smart manufacturing base spans 30,000 m² and supports concurrent export orders without stretching lead times.

📊 Small Desalination: A Growing Segment

Large municipal desalination plants attract the headlines, but growth is strongest at the small end: resorts, islands, mining and construction camps, and coastal communities that cannot justify a central plant. These users need a unit that ships as ordinary freight, starts up quickly and can be maintained locally.

A standardised series such as the 4021 is designed for exactly that segment. Clearing customs in four countries with one batch is a practical signal that the segment is real and not simply a niche.

    Why Choose WTEYA

WTEYA has been building evaporation and water treatment equipment since 2009 — nearly 20 years of design, manufacturing and field service. The group runs the Jingshan smart manufacturing base along with 42 branches and subsidiaries, employs more than 500 people and serves over 2,000 customers. Its equipment is used by more than 40 listed companies, including CATL, BYD, Huawei and Foxconn.
