Mid-Autumn Festival at WTEYA: Fruit Boxes and Mooncakes for Every Office

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, WTEYA prepared holiday gifts for every employee across the group. Distribution followed office location: the group headquarters received seasonal fruit boxes, while colleagues at the Jingshan manufacturing plant and at branch sites nationwide received traditional mooncakes.
Headquarters: Seasonal Fruit Boxes
The headquarters gifts were boxes of pomelo, pear and persimmon — three fruits that come into season around the festival. Pomelo is the centrepiece of a Cantonese Mid-Autumn table and stands for reunion; pear is considered cooling and suits the dry autumn air; persimmon carries the pun for "everything goes as you wish". All three are familiar Mid-Autumn flavours in Guangdong.
The boxes were handed out in the week before the holiday. The administration team counted and packed them department by department so that everyone could take the gift home and share it with family.
Jingshan Plant and Branch Sites: Mooncakes
The Jingshan manufacturing base is WTEYA's core production site, and production colleagues remained on shift through the holiday period. To make sure everyone on duty felt the occasion, the plant prepared mooncakes for the whole workforce.
At the same time, colleagues at branch sites across the country received their own mooncakes. From the Guangdong headquarters to Jingshan in Hubei, and on to project sites and service points elsewhere, the same goodwill arrived on the same festival day.
What the Gesture Says
For a company built on equipment manufacturing and engineering service, people are the most tangible asset. Over nearly two decades WTEYA has grown from a single workshop into a business with the Jingshan smart manufacturing base and a nationwide service network — built on the day-to-day effort of frontline colleagues in the workshop and on site.
The gift itself is not expensive. But the fact that headquarters, plant and branch sites were all covered says something about how a company treats its own people.
Holiday Arrangements
Duty rosters for the Mid-Autumn holiday have been set in advance at every WTEYA site. Project teams are staffed according to client requirements and service hotlines remain open, so that client schedules are not affected by the holiday.
